Planty - the largest central urban park in Europe around the Old Town. The Barbican - the largest military fortification of this type in Europe. The Jagiellonian University existing since 1364, the second oldest university in Central Europe. Among the University graduates there was Nicolaus Copernicus, the creator of the heliocentric system. Wieliczka Salt-Mine - was once a destination of royal and imperial visitors. The former separate Jewish city of Kazimierz with the Old Synagoge in the gothic-renaissance style, visited by people from all countries.
